In this example, sales leadership and product management stay aligned on revenue-blocking feature requests using Salesforce, Jira, and Slack.
We start in GUIDE with a 12-step workflow that automates actions across these three applications. To begin, we simply click Run.
First, GUIDE opens Salesforce and navigates to a report that lists opportunities where revenue is waiting on specific product features. GUIDE reads the first feature request from the report and then switches to another tab to access Jira, the engineering system used to track bugs and feature requests.
Next, GUIDE searches for that feature request inside Jira. When the matching work item is found, it opens the issue and automatically sets Revenue Blocker to Yes and the priority to Highest, signaling to engineering that this feature is directly tied to revenue.
Then GUIDE returns to Salesforce, reads the next row in the report, and repeats the process. It continues moving through the report one row at a time, finding the matching Jira work item, updating the revenue blocker status, and raising the priority until all feature requests from the Salesforce report have been processed.
Each time an action occurs, GUIDE analyzes the screen in real time to determine the next element to interact with. This allows it to work across existing applications without requiring APIs, scripts, or custom integrations.
And finally, once all feature requests have been processed, GUIDE opens Slack and posts a summary showing the total revenue currently waiting on these features, along with the Jira items that were updated.
